Apple Widget — EU/EEA Privacy Notice (GDPR)
Effective / last updated: 24 August 2026
This notice explains how Shant Harbedian processes personal data of users in the European Union and European Economic Area, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation.
1. Controller
The controller for personal data processed in Apple Widget is Shant Harbedian, an individual operator (a personal name, not a company). Contact details are in the Contact section at the end of this notice.
2. Scope of this notice
This notice applies in addition to the global privacy policy when you use Apple Widget from the European Union or the European Economic Area. Where the two differ, this notice prevails for EU/EEA users.

5. No advertising or cross-site tracking
This website loads no advertising, profiling or nonessential analytics cookies. The app does not build advertising profiles and does not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising.
6. Recipients and processors
Infrastructure providers such as Google Firebase process data on behalf of Shant Harbedian under data processing agreements. App stores process purchases and account matters under their own controller responsibility.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the EEA. Where that happens, transfers rely on an adequacy decision or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures as appropriate.
8. Retention
Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. Diagnostic data is retained only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for. Support correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your request and to meet legal obligations.

To exercise any of these rights, contact Shant Harbedian using the details below. You will receive a response within one month, extendable where the law allows.
10. Automated decision-making
Apple Widget personalizes the Scripture feed based on preferences you choose. This does not produce legal or similarly significant effects and is not automated decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.
11. Children
The app is not directed at children below the digital-age-of-consent threshold in their member state.
12. Right to lodge a complaint
You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority in the member state of your residence, place of work, or the place of the alleged infringement.
