Apple Widget — EU/EEA Terms of Use

These terms apply to consumers in the European Union and European Economic Area, in addition to the global Terms of Use. Where the two differ, these EU/EEA terms prevail for you.

Apple Widget is provided by Shant Harbedian, an individual operator. Shant Harbedian is a personal name, not a company. Purchases made through an app store are contracted with that store under its own terms.

Apple Widget offers a personalized Scripture feed, a Bible reader with several public-domain and freely licensed translations, guided prayers, customization options, widgets, reminders and sharing tools. Feature availability depends on your platform and device.

Subscriptions are not active yet. When they launch, the total price including VAT, the billing period, the renewal terms and any trial conditions will be shown clearly in the app before you confirm a purchase. This website does not sell anything and processes no payments.

As an EU/EEA consumer you generally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract for digital content or digital services, without giving a reason. Where you request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once performance has begun, that right may end early.

Purchases made through the App Store are handled by Apple. You can request a refund or exercise store-side rights via Apple's refund process.

Store subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can view, change or cancel an App Store subscription at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Under EU consumer law the app must conform to the contract. If digital content or a digital service is not in conformity, you are entitled to have it brought into conformity, or to a proportionate price reduction or termination, under the conditions set by law. These rights are free of charge and are not limited by these terms.

Updates necessary to keep the app in conformity, including security updates, will be provided for the period required by law. Features may otherwise change as the app develops.

If you obtain Apple Widget from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. You can read it at Apple's Standard EULA.

• Do not use the app for unlawful, abusive, hateful or harassing purposes.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or circumvent the app or its service providers.
• Do not misrepresent shared content as originating from another person or organization.

Scripture, devotional content, reminders, prayers and quotations in Apple Widget are provided for informational and devotional purposes only. They are not medical, mental-health, legal, emergency or other professional advice. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

Shant Harbedian is liable under the mandatory rules of applicable consumer law. Liability for intent, gross negligence, death, personal injury and damage to health, and liability under product-liability law, is never excluded.

As a consumer, you always keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in the courts of that country.

Shant Harbedian is not obliged and is not currently willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. You may still contact your national consumer authority or a competent court.

These terms may be updated. The version and effective date at the top of this page will change, and material updates will be signposted in the app or on this website.
