Apple Widget — Global Terms of Use
Effective / last updated: 24 August 2026
These terms describe what you can expect from Apple Widget and what is expected of you when using it. They are written in plain language and apply worldwide, except where local mandatory law says otherwise.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using Apple Widget, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Eligibility
You must be old enough to enter into a binding agreement where you live and to have an account with the app store you use.
3. Description of the service
Apple Widget is a devotional app offering a personalized Scripture feed, a Bible reader with several public-domain and freely licensed translations, guided prayers, customization options, widgets, reminders and sharing tools. Availability of individual features depends on your platform and device.
4. App license
Shant Harbedian grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Apple Widget on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial devotional use. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer or redistribute the app except where applicable law expressly allows it.
5. Relationship to Apple's Standard EULA
If you obtain Apple Widget from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies and, where it conflicts with these terms, Apple's minimum terms prevail for that license. You can read it at Apple's Standard EULA.
6. Your quotes, notes and photos
Quotes you write, notes, highlights, collections and photos you select remain yours. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of your content.
You grant only the limited permission needed for the app to display, format, store locally on your devices, and share that content when you ask it to. You are responsible for having the rights to any photo or text you add.
7. Acceptable use
- Do not use the app for unlawful, abusive, hateful or harassing purposes.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, probe or circumvent the app or its service providers.
- Do not misrepresent shared content as originating from another person or organization.
8. Intellectual property and content licenses
The app's design, artwork, icons, curated collections and software are protected by intellectual-property law. Bible translations included in the app are used under their respective public-domain status or license terms, with attribution as required by those licenses. Third-party quotations remain subject to the rights of their authors or rights holders.
9. Third-party services
The app relies on services such as Google Firebase, and lets you share content into apps you choose. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and Shant Harbedian is not responsible for how they operate.
10. Subscription billing once activated
Subscriptions are not active yet. When they launch, subscription options, prices and periods will be shown transparently in the app before you purchase. Purchases are processed by the applicable app store. This website does not sell anything and does not process payments.
11. Auto-renewal
Subscriptions offered through an app store renew automatically for the chosen period until you cancel. Your store account is charged at confirmation of purchase and at each renewal, unless you cancel before the end of the current period.
12. Cancellation and subscription management
You can view, change or cancel an App Store subscription in your Apple account settings at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
13. Restoring purchases
If you reinstall the app or use a new device with the same store account, use the in-app restore option to recover an active subscription.
14. Refund requests
Refunds for app-store purchases are handled by the store, not by Shant Harbedian. You can request one through Apple's refund process. A refund is not guaranteed, and statutory consumer rights in your country are not affected.
15. Feature and content changes
Features, themes, prayers and content collections may be added, changed or removed as the app develops. Platform-specific features depend on operating system support.
16. Service availability
Some content, theme downloads and diagnostics require a network connection and depend on third-party infrastructure. Continuous, uninterrupted availability is not promised.
17. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. Shant Harbedian may suspend or end your license if you materially breach these terms or use the app unlawfully.
18. Devotional and content disclaimer
Scripture, devotional content, reminders, prayers, quizzes and quotations in Apple Widget are provided for informational and devotional purposes only. They are not medical, mental-health, legal, emergency or other professional advice, and no particular spiritual, emotional or personal outcome is promised. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
19. Warranty disclaimer
Except where the law does not allow it, the app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Mandatory statutory warranties and consumer rights are not excluded.
20. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Shant Harbedian is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data arising from your use of the app. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence.
21. Governing law
Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory law of their country of residence.
22. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The version and effective date at the top of this page will change, and material updates will be signposted in the app or on this website.
